My name is Emmanuel Athan Uchenna Ohalete. I am a pastor and a humanitarian leader.
What inspired you to apply to a university in Sweden?
My inspirations are innovative culture, scholarship opportunities, social welfare, and equality.
Can you walk us through your experience when you realized that paying the application fee might be challenging?
I know one of the challenges is paying the application fee. This gave me serious concern because there are scammers everywhere online. But I spoke with someone: my coach, who studied in Sweden, who suggested using the Pay4me app.
What obstacles were you facing at the time?
It was difficult paying my application fee to my school in Sweden. I tried many payment channels, but none came through for me. It seemed as if studying in Sweden may not work because deadline was approaching, and I couldn't pay my fees until Pay4Me came through for me.
How did you first hear about Pay4Me, and what made you decide to give it a try?
Around October 2024, I became aware of the Pay4me App. Though other apps could be used, I cast off every fear due to my belief in the person who introduced it. Yes, at first, I was scared about how everything worked out so quickly. When I wanted to push the payment button, I was skeptical the first and second times, but pursued it. However, on second thought, I decided to take the risk. Some of my friends didn't attempt it until I succeeded. That is how I became their guide.
What was your first impression when you used Pay4Me to pay your application fee?
My first impression was "wow" because it was completed in under 30 minutes, while I was still on the road, between the time I pressed the payment button and the time I received the feedback message. I quickly checked my Swedish university admissions portal to verify the school's acknowledgment and was not disappointed.

Honestly, I feel really good about it. Being able to share my experience and see others benefit from it gives me a sense of pride. I know how confusing and risky it can feel when you're dealing with international payments for the first time, especially from Africa. So if my story helps someone else feel more confident about using Pay4Me, then it’s worth sharing. The memorable experience is the feeling of satisfaction I got from helping others solve their problems; I found myself responding to questions even at odd hours of the day.
